Well, the reality of the situation, according to a distinguished Yale University Law Professor and many our nation's top legal experts, is that Trump, to this day, has not been told on what crimes he has been convicted of, or why. The 34 so call "felony counts" were basically 34 pieces of paper directly related to the same crime, not 34 separate crimes. Additionally, the trial was basically "made up," they made up the crimes and then convicted Trump of them. They were what you call two-part crimes, the primary "act" and the secondary act that makes the first act a crime or a felony crime. However, the Court never said what the second act was that made it a crime, and that happened twice. So to this day, Trump has no idea what crime is was guilty of. The jury, which had 3 or 4 potential acts (potential violations of law) that made this a felony crime, were told by the Judge to "just pick one," because the Prosecutor never stated nor could prove what secondary act that Trump violated, thus the jury does not need to be unanimous in their decision (twice). That instruction to the Jury is unconstitutional and a violation of law. The current position, as of 2020, for federal and state courts is that the Sixth and Fourteenth Amendments to the U.S. Constitution require unanimous verdicts to convict a criminal defendant. Trump's jury was not only instructed that a unanimous verdict Was Not Needed on the elements of crime, but were instructed to "pick something" as to what made the offense a felony. The State never declared what the specific violations that Trump committed that make the charges a felony, so that is also unconstitutional. The entire trial was a sham, and according to reputable legal scholars, there is no way Trump will lose on Appeal. Furthermore, Trump was also being tried on Federal Charges, and it is the Federal Government and Courts that should be making or trying those charges. Trump's four-count indictment includes charges of conspiracy to defraud the United States government (The Federal Government failed to charge Trump because they could not find fraud or a crime), so that is how it ended up in a local Political New York City Courthouse, with the Prosecution Team included the #3 top Biden Justice Department Official leaving the Department to work for the NYC prosecution team. How did that happen, by accident? Trump was not permitted to bring in his expert Witnesses on behalf of his defense, the top experts in the country in this matter -- another violation of the legal process committed by the Judge and Prosecutor, and also unconstitutional. The violations of law by the Court, and the long list of unconstitutional actions by the court, include major problems with instructions to the Jury, will certainly reverse everything including the Trump convictions as null and void since Trump was denied almost every legal and constitutional right in his defense in this Political Kangaroo Court.
